Fire Skid Add-Ons
Here are a few ways to take advantage of the versatility built into your QTAC fire skids:
Hannay Electric Hose Reel: A hose reel makes extending your hose a fast and untangled process. But leaving the scene after an event so you can get back to other duties (like prepping for the next response) is just as important. Upgrading your hose reel to a Hannay Electric allows you to quickly and cleanly retract your hose so you can keep moving. Like its manual counterpart, the Hannay Electric accommodates up to 100 feet of 3/4″ garden hose or 50 feet of red booster hose.
Scotty Through-the-Pump Foam Proportioner:If you’ve ever mixed suppressant foam in a tank, you know all about the tedious cleaning process afterward. The Scotty system uses an adjustable valve to introduce foam concentrate into the water stream without it ever entering the tank. It’s an effective application tool, and it saves you a significant amount of time and labor.
Water Drafting Kit: How much water does a QTAC skid offer you? All the water you can find! With our water drafting kit, you can set any type of QTAC fire skid near a water source (like a stream, lake, or swimming pool) and pump all the water you need. Pump directly toward your fire or suppression target, or use your skid pump to fill larger vessels. The kit comes with 20 feet of 1″ draft hose, a 1″ cam-lock fitting, and a foot valve with strainer.
Nozzles: Customize your water output with the Viper Nozzle, featuring a variable 10-23 gallon-per-minute output.
